It’s always nice to see a player debut a new signature shoe, rock an Air Jordan Retro, or simply sport a never-before-seen player exclusive. However, it is also a treat to see the majority of the NBA players, as a collective, wear sneakers in support of an particular awareness. Last night, our Kicks On Court spotted many NBA players wearing predominately red-colored sneakers to show support for World AIDS Day.
As seen in these photos, many brands supplied their players with all-red PEs, while other players laced up sneakers from their personal collection. For example, Gilbert Arenas rocked the red Air Jordan 2 via the “Toro Bravo” Pack, while Rudy Gay wore a Nike Huarache 2010 PE. In addition, Reebok brand players John Wall, Jason Terry and Jameer Nelson wore an all-red Reebok Zig Slash PE, and Derrick Rose/Dwight Howard laced up the red versions of the adiZero Rose and Beast Commander, respectively.
