Kicks On Court

It’s always nice to see a player debut a new signature shoe, rock an Air Jordan Retro, or simply sport a never-before-seen player exclusive. However, it is also a treat to see the majority of the NBA players, as a collective, wear sneakers in support of an particular awareness. Last night, our Kicks On Court spotted many NBA players wearing predominately red-colored sneakers to show support for World AIDS Day.

As seen in these photos, many brands supplied their players with all-red PEs, while other players laced up sneakers from their personal collection. For example, Gilbert Arenas rocked the red Air Jordan 2 via the “Toro Bravo” Pack, while Rudy Gay wore a Nike Huarache 2010 PE. In addition, Reebok brand players John Wall, Jason Terry and Jameer Nelson wore an all-red Reebok Zig Slash PE, and Derrick Rose/Dwight Howard laced up the red versions of the adiZero Rose and Beast Commander, respectively. View these kicks plus more, worn by LeBron James, Brandon Jennings, Dwyane Wade, JR Smith and others, below.

  1. Why is James wearing the Un-China instead of the China? The latter look so much better than the former (and the colors are practically the same).

  2. oKAY is Gilbert trying to convince Jordan to give him a deal since he lost all his endorsements after the gun incident????
