Today the internet and sneaker world was set a blaze with the debut of the Nike LeBron 8 “Rise” commercial. Since King James signed the dotted line with Nike back in 2003 a series of fantastic ad campaigns have been launched to promote his famed LeBron series. In wake of the “Rise” commotion we take a look at the LeBron signature line and the commercial campaigns that kicked off each shoe.

Nike wanted to make sure they got return on their $90 million investment so they ran two ads for the rookie’s first shoe. The first ad, “Pressure”, poked fun at the lofty expectations set on the Chosen One. Bernie Mac and a congregation of NBA legends assisted LeBron on the second ad focusing on his divine court vision.
