In Retrospect: Nike Dunk Hi AC TZ

It was a year ago that the first in a long line of Nike kicks featuring autoclave soles hit retail. Debuting the new look was a twosome of Dunk Highs in monochromatic canvas builds. These Dunks must have been a hit despite their simple design, as they came and went quickly from the handful of shops that own Tier Zero status. Since this release, we’ve seen a number of classic silhouettes sport an autoclave sole. Were you able to grab a pair last year? If you wanted a pair but weren’t able to scoop one, is this a shoe that you’re still after?

    i was 1 of the lucky few who grabbed a pair of the black 1's on PYS….kept them deadstock till about a month ago, and just like every canvas shoe ive owned, the toe box starts to fade wherever the materials rub on each other…oh well, nothing new, especially when you consider how sensitive canvas is…even with this dilemna, still very glad i copped, especially since they seem to be very hard to find nowadays…favorite pair of dunks right up there with the CARHARTTS, DESTROYERS AND FOGS :)

    i wanted the grays but i picked up the blacks and still they are one of the most comfy, nice sneakers ive ever picked up. great shoe

    loved them, got the grey ones – have kept deadstock for now. missed out on blacks.

    copped both, and glad i did… def amongst the sharpest dunks made, simple yet bold, worn both, but subbed the USA Mr. Cartoon world cup dunks for grays

    Nice!!!
    I copped the grey's…def wanted both but the blacks sold out of 14's real quick at 21 mercer….still wish i had the black pair!
    Anybody got a 14 for sale?

    Got the grey joints from @ShoeGallery and they were in my top 10 list of 2009. I am not a fan of the other Nike ACs, but these are one of my favs.

    Best thing to happen to the Dunk since SB!

    Oh well. Guess I'm not as cool as you guys. I was only able to land a pair of the Dunk Hi AC "Netherlands". Really enjoy 'em just the same. *lol* :P
