Footwear Faceoff: Spike Lee vs Q-Tip

Movie producer Spike Lee and rapper Q-Tip are both rarities in our Footwear Faceoff/Celebrity Sneaker Stalker columns; however, over the weekend, we spotted both entertainers in some nice kicks to say the least. Spike Lee showed up to the 2nd Annual Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson Birthday Celebration rocking the “Cool Grey” Jordan Spizike that released during the holiday season of 2008. On the contrary, rapper Q-Tip was spotted wearing the Silver/Black Nike Air Foamposite Pro at the 7th annual Rock The Bells Festival. Both of these sneakers arguably possess the best colorway seen on these respective models. Therefore, who rocked the better sneaker this past weekend? Is Q-Tip’s Foamposite Pro the ‘vivrant’ thing in this Footwear Faceoff or did Spike Lee ‘do the right thing’ this time?

in '08 those foamposites were on sneakerhead for a while before they sold out. price 179.99 . . . the pearls sold out in a day or so. price 249.99. smh at the hype.
