Nike Lunar Air 180

Old school design collides head on with new school tech on the Nike Lunar Air 180. Roughly two months ago we previewed the “Ultramarine” colorway to the pleasure of many of our readers. At the time we were unsure when this anticipated shoe would release but we now know the shoe will be available at select retailers worldwide very soon and eventually hit state side in the coming months.

The shoe channels the design of the Nike Air Max 180 and uses the technology and materials from current Nike performance models. Lunar foam is used on the forefoot with Torch material integrated in the upper. Suede paneling and an Air Max heel unit are carried over from the original. Pink and blue accents set off the predominately white upper making these ideal for the summer.

    I saw a sample where the forefoot midsole was white and i thought that looked better than this one. Overall, still a good looking shoe.

    If I can get these from my local shops, I'm totally going to pick them up. I wish I'd have picked up the size? exclusive, but this will satisfy my desire for a 180 at the moment.

    I had originals and the ultramarine color is a type of orange, not pink accents like the article describes. There is only 3 colors on the shoe, white,blue and ultramarine.
