San Antonio Sneaks Up Nike Dunk Hunt

San Antonio Sneaks Up is at it again.

Paying homage to the Orchard St. custom dunk release from several years ago, the Sneaks Up crew has decided to have its very own custom Dunk release to build momentum for the Sneaks Up 4 event scheduled for Sunday, April 25th. No need to climb trees or telephone poles for this release; the appropriately titled “Dunk Hunt” will have local San Antonians on a city wide scramble for the 6 custom pairs. The 1st pair to be given away will be on Wednesday, April 21 live on air during the local Fox News Morning show. Tune in at 7:15am and be ready to phone in for your chance! The subsequent pairs will be given away FOR FREE to the first person to find them at various locations around San Antonio from April 22-25, keep checking the Sneaks Up blog, as well as the Sneaks Up Facebook & Twitter pages for clues on locations.

The Sneaks Up 4 custom dunks are designed by local collector and customizer Jake Danklefs. The red panels of the dunk bare resemblance to the 1st Orchard St dunk release series and the orange bottom panels take cues from the 2nd OS dunk. Finally, custom cut black denim swooshes and an emblazoned “SU4″ are placed on the back heel portion of each shoe. Each pair comes with a custom box plus some other goodies not pictured.

The Sneaks Up Krew did really good with this idea…. The time and effort they have put into this product for the show is awesome…. Its the truth they are doing this all on their own no mad money here, and to think they can accomplish all this…. Come on….. Sneaks up Son!!!!

I dont think the swoosh and SU4 on the shoe look good, reminds me of when Nike would use frayed denim and not that canvas/denim they use now. I wish I lived in SA to get these!
