Earlier this week we focused on two of CC Sabathia’s very special Air Jordan cleats that he opened the 2010 in, but our focus has now turned towards this pair of basketball sneakers for the same player. CC was chosen as the signature athlete through which to debut the Air Jordan Alpha 1 Outdoor.
The shoes features a detachable ankle strap as a part of its special design. Said straip is black, which matches the fixed heel, and features a special. The aforementioned heel and the midfoot both feature a repeating design. On the toe of the blue uppers, tallies count to 27, which is the number of MLB Championships the Yankees have. The right ankle strap displays “Since ’09″ because Sabathia joined for the Bronx Bombers for the 2009 campaign. A white Swoosh breaks up the black and blue combination used throughout. Numbers of these are limited, but you can grab them now at select Jordan accounts.
