Rest In Peace Reggie E. Holloway

RIP Reggie

I had the pleasure of meeting Reggie more than three years back at the Premium Goods 2 Year Anniversary Party where he dropped people’s jaws with his VIP Nike AF1 low iDs taking the top prize for best sneakers worn to the event. His knowledge and passion for sneakers was like few I have ever seen and especially for the Nike Air Force 1. Nothing got in his way of obtaining a rare pair and never was he satisfied – always on the hunt. Always positive and always with a smile on his face, Reggie was a great friend to everyone in the Houston and Texas sneaker community.

Rest in peace Reggie.

The Reggie E. Holloway Funeral Service will be Monday, March 22 at 11AM.

All friends and acquaintances of Reggie are welcome. Reggie wants you to wear your best AF1s!

Last night one of Reggie’s best friends Adam Sofa set up a site in dedication to Reggie. Adam had an idea to create the ‘Reggie Air Force 1Project’ to commemorate his contribution to the sneaker community with a special 1 of 1 Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke created exclusively with the finest of materials to be given to Reggie’s family. Reggie’s family has been informed of the project, and although they knew Reggie was a big collector, they had no idea what a huge impact he had on the sneaker community. Instantly donations have poured in from all over the world from all of the people who Reggie had touched over the years through his deep passion for sneakers and selfless personality. Reggie’s influence can also be seen by the great amount of people mourning his loss on the multiple sneaker sites he would frequent. I would like to ask that you assist our efforts in making the ‘Reggie Air Force 1′ project a reality. http://www.reggieaf1.com

i recently heard about young regg…and it hurts my heart…i’ve been reading on many sites how he was a great impact…just reading wut youngin did touched me as well as my fellow sneakheads..i’ve been a sneakhead 12+ years…like others i shared that thrill and those memories of waiting outside to cop some fresh kicks…or take ish from the shoe store salesman because he forgot there was 1 mo sz 11 and a half in the back…..but its all worth it….we all share that thrill that passion! this is tru love to all…because thats why we all get on here…to express our deepest passions for thread suade leather..and rubber.but its cool reggie wont b forgotten…you cant forget the greats. u dont have to be a millionaire or some big shot music artist to b a great ..u can be like lil hommie…just a young cat dat has love fa da sneak world as well respect…i’ve never met youngin but i tell u this…he’s one of the reasons..i spend crazy loot on this ish…its really not the shoes or money….its the love! and dats real……..and i will b coppin some all white reggie af1′s……..to everyone on here its all love!!!

Man I’m not a sneaker head and i dont even know how i got to this site but Reginald E. Holloway II was my lil cousin. He was twenty years old but was someone I looked up to. Even with all his illness i never heard him complain or have self pity. I new he was big into sneakers just by seeing his collections but i never imaged him having this big of impact in this many peoples’ lives. Just seeing all these comments makes me feel better about our loss because he meant so much to others and makes me proud to be his cousin….
