Jordan Hallowed Ground

A couple of nights ago, our Kicks On Court spotted Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen sporting a white/gold-green colorway of the Jordan Hallowed Ground. It is obvious that he was gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day. However, Ray Allen unveiled his official 2010 St. Patrick’s Day Jordan sneaker via Twitter.

Ray Allen will be sporting this particular Jordan Hallowed Ground in tonight’s game against the New York Knicks. Although both Jordan Hallowed Grounds contain a similar color scheme, distinctive attributes are seen between the two. This pair owns a primarily white textured leather base combined with a white/gold gradient-like midsole. It also contains multiple gold accents, seen throughout the midfoot, on the heel tab and featured on the inner lining, that coincide perfectly with the previously mentioned sole. To compliment this Hallowed Ground, a three-leaf clover is spotted in between the heel and side panels.     The Hallowed Ground is a very underappreciated Jordan sneaker. Obviously you can’t put it up against the XII’s being that those are classics, but I think the hallowed ground is one of the cleaner non-retro Jordan releases in a while and those St. Patty day PE’s are no exception.
