Nike Air More Uptempo

This upcoming holiday season is turning into one of the best in a very long time. Within the past couple of weeks, we have learned that the Nike Air CB34 and the Nike Air Go LWP. In addition, the ever-so-popular Nike Air More Uptempo will also hit retailers later this year.

The Air More Uptempo is a favorite amongst many thanks to its enlarged ‘AIR’ on the sides. Although most people associate this sneaker with MJ’s right hand man Scottie Pippen, the Air More Uptempo, which possesses a full-length Air sole, was not a part of his signature line. However, Pippen did wear a white/blue-red color scheme of this shoe during the 1996 Olympics. The Nike Air More Uptempo will release in the original black/white colorway and a black/white-orange colorway this holiday season. Who else is excited about this release?

    Pip’s kicks during the Bulls 1996 record-winning season, MJ in the Bred Jordan 11s and Pip in these during the playoffs! I had these and the breds. Great time in my life!

    they just dropped these a few years back, but i think just the white/navy and a black/grey versions. the olympic versions would be tough…

    I don’t care what anyone says…….these are known as Pippens to me, always will be. Does anyone remember those low budget versions with one air bubble?

    It will be exciting to see them again, I had a pair of the originals when I was a kid. Still, I can’t really see myself wearing them now .

    @ Biff Tannen. I remember the low budget ones like these with the one bubble. I think those were the Reggie Miller’s. I had these in high school when I was on the team in all white!!! These were and are hot!

    The lower priced pair with the single air pocket were the Air Much Uptempo.

    These were retroed not that long ago, a couple of years ago.

    My associate at work has the black/black ones. He copped at ROSS on clearance lol

    little circle with swoosh on heel shouldn’t be there, had these in all white when I was in 5th grade… great, but pass.

    YES!!! Man…NIKE has it’s ear to the street (internet sites like this). They are wising up and dropping the old heat! I am mos def copping these kix. My boy Tone has the OG’s from 95-96. I always wanted a pair since HS. Now that I am grown up I have been going back and snatching all the kix I could not afford as a youngyin. Not cus all the hype!

    Man I had these as a kid. Thanks Pops! Too bad I destroyed the air bag at the cement slides. I considered a pair when they were just retroed, ended up passing. This time though…well I got a while to decide.

    these were really unexpecting i heard nothing @ all about these glad to see people are really going cop these. Easy pass for me though unlike people on these site who just see the pics i actually owned these these kicks are big a$$ hell. For people who wear skinny jeans please i beg you not to ever wear these with skinnys LMAO seriously though don’t buy they if you wear skinny jeans.

    Nike is bringing back so much HEAT its ridiculous!!! I hope they save some for 2011. NIKE PLEASE BRING BACK THE AIR GRIFFEY MAX 2 ( the one that has the carbon fiber on the side by the heal) Jordan, Please bring back the air Jordan 4,13 and 14. Nike Also bring back the, I think they were the Deon sanders. They were blue and white with a strap over the laces, they had a black and white version too. These are old school I would say somewere between 94-96??

    WOW Nike is really trying to KILL the competition…..it is way too Hard to collect shoes now (money and LIMITED run)…..so many colorways, designs, RETROS…..I would have like 2,500 shoe to buy and maintain….not too mention…they will DETERIORATE and yellow, crack and break. :-(

    Anyways….I have (2) pairs in my WHOLE collection and I wear them!!

    PS: I am so glad I SOLD off my whole NIKE Pristine unworn collection 1 year ago and LEFT the game. Things change when you can’t and decide not to COLLECT….house is more important than shoes you can’t wear but to collect.

    And you need a home to house your collection and yourself. :-)

    for those people clamouring for the Deon Sanders shoes, Nike retroed the Air Max DT a couple years ago, maybe 2007, the black/white with the flame design and gold accents, and white/red colourways. Nike also retroed the Air Vair about 4 or 5 years ago in many different colours too, so we actually got a few Deon Sanders sig kix in the last couple years.

    I cant wait this are Hands down one my favorite signature, I still have the 2006 AIR Tempos but this are the OG Color with the suede and white color way I HONESTLY CANT WAIT UNTIL THE HOLIDAY SEASON to get two pairs of these BEAUTIFUL CREATION.
