The Jordan Icons is one of the better-received team shoes from JB in a while. Dropping in the same season as the 16.5, this shoe is poised to release in some very nice colorways. Numerous NBA players have been spotted in the Icons, including Juwan Howard, who sported this exact colorway in a game last night. Thanks to a heads up from Daily Drop, we know that you can grab this Black/Black-Varsity Red color-up online now.

Black leather and cloth construct the entire upper, while white stitching appears on the quarter panels. A red liner is used as an accent, like so almost all Jordans. Will the Icons ultimately prove to be an effective and stylish hoops sneaker for non-NBA caliber ballers? Only time will tell.

these shoes are very comfortable and light ! …as you can tell from the bottom sole they have cushing points on the main part of the foot .. most likely the same comfort like the Air20s

I played in them a couple times and felt uncomfortable with the support of the bottom sole. It felt like I was standing on 3 little bumps. I prefer my Kobe V's.
I also have flat feet, so I don't know if that makes a big difference.

review 1. I have The patent blue and patent red icons both PE 's for The hawks. Why did i get them? The Patent blue go straight with 2008-9 Blue Jordan Georgtown Hoyas player shorts.and the Red to Rock my Old Cincy Jordan player gear. I have played about 11 games in these kicks and in the begining my legs were killing me the following day. It took a while to break in. I do wish that Blank areas around the POD grip pads had some grit to them like the hurrache 2010 do. My number 1 concern is allways grip. The better the grip the quicker the step and crossover to stop pop and fade. The shoe is comfy with the quilt around the ankle (Lebron 7 Playoff is much better) and the toe box is designed so that the creese in the patent will blend in with the stitching (allways a concern with patent toe boxes like the J19's – comfy as all hell but nasty looking with the toe box creases which is i why i am on the fence withe 2010 black n' carolina – what the heck will those end up looking like?) For a post position player the shoe works fine especial with the circular pad – all the spins and fakes move easily. I do not recomend for a reely fast guard, only small or power forward.

POD cushioning is better represented in the CP3's "3rd model (I have 2 pairs- straight player shoes cushion and grip if your not feelin the KObe V or Hyper Hypes or Zoom comfort) Out of 10 i give them a 6 and if they didnt come in Pat Red or Blue they get a 4. Hurrache 2010 a much better high top than these or Hyper Dykes (FYI, Detroit Pistons banned players from wearing Hyper Dykes due to player injuries – NO SUPPORT) Ithink the shoe come a half size larger than normal so if you gonna cop and you wear 11.5 go 11.
