The Air Jordan 6 Retro has garnered a lot of attention as of late. In January, Jordan Brand unleashed the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Varsity Red; however, rumors of an Air Jordan 6 Retro “Infrared” Pack literally focused everybody’s attention towards this summer. However, we have now spotted another Air Jordan 6 Retro that will release later this year.

A lot of wondered why JB would release a black/infrared Air Jordan 6 Retro after unleashing the black/red Air Jordan 6 earlier this year. Well, it seems JB will do the same thing with the primarily white pair. The minimal red hints appear on the midsole, the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the heel tab. Other features include a clear outsole, a black tongue and white shoelaces. No word on when this shoe will release; meanwhile, click here to view detailed photos.

You said it! These are so fresh, coppin Xs 2 regardless if the infra pack comes out or not.
Hopefully it does tho because I’m goin to copp that Xs 2 as well that would be money well spent…. if I can get my hands on em. A lot a peeps are just speculating right now. If I were a guessing man I would say if the pack does drop, it aint going to be easy to obtain. And once it sells out its going to hit DMP VI, XI prices with the quickness.

JB is SOOO stupid and so are we for giving away all our money. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR THE INFRARED. If they were gonna saturate the market with VIs they SHOULDA dropped WHITE/NAVY, daaaammn.
Only real difference is color, don’t care what yall say infrared MADE this shoe. Don’t even use red if it ain’t INFRA.

I’m gettin these and the pack. I can rock these and the black and keep the pack. Anyway it’s a different colorway. The pack is not really red it’s orange.

All the cats that are hating on JB for releasing the Black/Varsity Red and White/Varsity Red should calm down. If you don’t like them, don’t but them. That leaves more of these VIs for me. The Infrared pack is nice, but these make for nice beaters.

Somebody at JB is a marketing and sales genius. They know how much Jordan heads fiend for the Infra red 6s. So, they knew that the releasing of the varsity red black/white 6′s would drive us crazy, and we’d drop the dough on em. Only to later release the infra reds and leave us little options. Now the only option is to cop, even if you settled for the varsity red 6s, like me, because infra red is the real heat. That strategy, my friends, is pure genius. I guess it wasnt my time to retire from the sneaker game. You win, JB. You win…

As classic as the Infrared colorway is, I think I prefer the darker varsity red myself. Would’ve been even sweeter if they could put the old school “Nike Air” on the back, but oh well. Definitely going to get at least one pair of these. Now if only they would re-release the Carmines… now that would make my year.
