Earlier this year, we showed you a video tour of the newly-designed Nike Harajuku Store in Japan. A month later, photos of the new NikeiD studio in Japan have surfaced on the web.

Japan’s NikeiD studio just recently opened on February 3rd, 2010. The studio space, which is located within the Silvercord Nike Flagship, allows consumers to personally create their favorite Nike sneakers using a slew of materials, colors and graphics. A one-on-one session will approximately last for one hour, and you will be able to pick up your iDs within four weeks of your session. If you are thinking about visiting and your birthday is in February, now is the time to go; exclusive opening fit sets are given to all customers born in February. Click here to view more photos.

So is this in Hong Kong as the photos and headline are labeled, or is it in Japan?

It’s Hong Kong. You can tell by what’s outside in the last picture. That’s right across the street from Ocean Terminal and ISA is a HK luxury goods retailer. Also Nike Harajuku wouldn’t be so close to the buildings across the street.

“If you are thinking about visiting”…….seriously?!! This is really not worth the price of the ticket when you can just visit your nearest laptop and design a shoe from Nikeid yourself. What is the big deal?…and for any smart @$$ who’s going to say “dude, it’s all about the experience”….F—K THAT!!! They even had the audacity to show a laptop logged into Nikeid, inside the store!!! The consultation will take up to an hour…..please. This is beyond rediculous.
