Nike Hoop Structure FA White/Purple

nike-hoop-structure-fa-whitepurple-1

The Nike Hoop Structure was designed in 2009 as a high-top version of the classic Structure Triax meant for the hardwood. To improve further on the model, Flywire was added in and the FA was born. This next color-up just hit shelves at select retailers, including UNDFTD.

White leather appears on the toe, heel and ankle areas. Clear Flywire lays over a white liner throughout the mid-panel. Purple threading works as a support system, as it criss-crosses around the four midfoot eyelets. A purple and black Swoosh matches up with the tongue and heel logo. Finally, the clear outsole last seen on the “Hot Red” pair is also utilized.

YEAH, I FEEL THAT. THE HOOP STRUCTURES ARE DOPE AND ADDING THE FW TO THEM IN THIS PURP COLOR WAY IS A WIN BUT AT $125 I’M BY PASSING TOO MUCH HEAT FOR EITHER CHEAPER OR RIGHT AROUND THE SAME PRICE POINT. STILL WAITING FOR THESE JOINTS TO GO ON SALE.

Good idea, but I think they actually look better without the flywire. Maybe it’s just because I don’t think flywire looks good on a casual shoe, and if I’m gonna get a performance shoe for 125 it’ll be kobes or lebrons and not this.

  • greenmaker24

this model just came out and they are already putting flywire on it, smh -_-

If you compare the soles of the jordan 6′s and the hoop structures they are the same. The ankle supports are the same the only difference is that the 6′s have holes in the ankle.
