Kicks On Court: All Star Weekend Recap

This past weekend, marked one of the greatest NBA All-Star Weekends ever as celebrities, fans, coaches and many more contributed to the record-setting 108,713 attendance mark at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Tx. It was a great chance to see some of your favorite stars in action such as Lebron James, Jason Kidd, Paul Pierce and All-Star MVP Dwyane Wade among others.

As with every All-Star Weekend, the NBA superstars always make a fashion statement with their kicks. In case you missed this year’s All-Star weekend, our Kicks On Court has put together a recap of all the sneakers worn at the All-Star Game, Rookie/Sophomore Challenge and the All-Star Saturday festivities. Some never-before-seen sneakers worn this weekend including the debut of the Air Jordan 2010, the Jordan Icons, the Nike Air Max Hyperize  and a plethora of other All-Star exclusives.     All those 2010s I saw yesterday were UGLY. The only respecable colorway I seen was the black/university blue. JB won’t be getting $200 from me for the 2010s.

    Ima buy the 2010′s…they’re growing on me..i guess it was after I found out that Tinker Hatfield designed them..it’s not bad looking and i tried them on with black socks so the see through window wasn’t too noticeable..my opinion.

    Two Things:

    1. Rondo killed em all with the Royal NFW Hypermax Tennis Balls. Period, end of story.

    2. This whole shoe color not even matching the jersey thing, was TERRIBLE! Looked like a bunch of goons. Just not a good look fellas.

    I was hoping to get pics of one particular colorway of the 2010 I saw during the game. It had an all white upper, black (or blue?) outsole and the trim around the TPU window was black (or blue?). Oh well…the other pics are nice. I hope the Gumbi haircut isn’t coming back. Brandon looks like he belongs in the year 1989.

    Anybody else notice that Gerald Wallace actually wore two different pairs of 2010′s during the game? In one pic, he’s in the background with white ones, and nearer the bottom, he has the navy blue pair. Very interesting

    no, that is gerald wallace in three different pics. in the background of the derrick rose pic you can see the white with black tongue 2010s he wore in the first half. then in his own pic and the background of the pic with david lee defending pau gasol he’s wearing the black 2010s with a white sole that he wore in the second half.

    Indeed lesson was learned on the Dunk contest.. It’s all Brons fault it sucked if he only lived up to his word that he would join it then the Dunks would have been ill.. Those reverse jams he made during the ASG was far better than the dunks made on the contest..
