Around this time last year (February 5th to be exact), the “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite released nationwide. It went on to become one of, if not the most highly anticipated sneaker of 2009 With that said, we would like to take you back into the past to share with us your thoughts during that exact moment.

Missed out, no have 2 pairs. paid $350.00 and $375.00 SMH. And Nike decides re-release, SMH i think it just fell off. I hate resellers sometimes!!!

I got mines on that dat in PG mall…I got the last size 9.5 I sold my 360 elite 4 them, and was it worth it….it’s yes and no, yes becuzz they are 2 sweet imeen look at them. Yes becuz they last 4ever. Yes. Becuzz alot of copy cat fools couldn’t afford them there 4 I was da only dude with them at my skool….No, becuzz I kinda miss my 360, no becuzz when I bought them I realize that I didn’t have a damn thin purple in my closet…in all that said…HELL YEA THEY WERE WORTH OT….LOL

This is the official choice of sneakers in b-more any foamposite that releases is a must cop, I like the sneaker but I would use them only to ball in, I’ve only owned one pair, but I’m going to purchase the copper pair whenever they release for the summer.

Hands down best sneaker of 2010 based on colorway, comfort, style and durability nothing is even close. We got them in and i had to keep 2 pair for myself this shoe has everything that a $200 pair of shoes should have. Cant wait to get the coppers in to add to my foam collection please dont re-release these its perfect the way they are….

i called the nikestore the lady said the coppers are delayed yes they are delayed and she said the eggplants foams will release sometime this month at selected footaction store or finishline forgot what store she said but thats the true info she said the FEB 10th date is not true she said if it is trust her nike will put it up on twitter or other website THATS THE TRUE INFO PEOPLE

I bought a pair but they hurt my feet. at $200+ this should not happen, i had to replace the insole after just a few games. Disappointing but i do love the way they look.

To all those complaining and calling Nike stupid for lowering the value . . . they don’t make money off of deadstock kicks . . we do. And they re released it due to the fact that maybe they realized they made it too limited and more people wanted them?
@Hammyhamster, Foams are notorious for running small, but regardless they are going to hurt until they form around your foot.

man, i got my refund check from school the day they came out online (1 week early). saw them on pys, went to a class for an hour, checked pys again, GONE! waited 1 week for savannah footaction to release them, NOT IN STOCK! i was so disappointed. now i’m back home in the atlanta area where they will be easier to grab. b-day coming up, so these will make a great gift.

Nike should just rename the shoe & release the Copper Foam’s. After all they did that with the Nike Air 3 (Air Garnett).
