All-Star Sneakend

The NBA All-Star Weekend will soon commence in Dallas, TX. Many of us ‘heads are anxiously awaiting the myriad of All-Star sneaker colorways that will debut on the feet of the NBA’s best. Yet, All-Star Basketball will not be the only event in Dallas during that weekend. February 12 also marks the kickoff of the All-Star Sneakend.

This sneakerhead swap meet will provide a place for collectors and retailers to buy, sell, and trade their shoes. Presiding over this mercantile commotion will be a handful of industry celebrities such as the ATF Crew and Jordan Brand Architect, Erin Patton.

    Dang, wish I could go to that. But I’m not driving all the way out there for three hours…..

    It’s only 3 hours because that’s as long as we could get the House of Blues. Coulda had it at a less well known venue that was far away from all the action, but everyone wanted a prime location central to the All-Star festivities.

    Also, with so much going on during All-Star weekend, there’s plenty of other entertainment to go around that day…for example, the Jordan Brand 23/25 Experience is only a block-and-a-half away; U could easily do another hour there to check out the 2010 as well as the whole 25th anniversary celebration, then maybe go grab some dinner, and then hit up one of the MANY parties in Dallas that evening. The House of Blues itself will be having Doug E Fresh and DJ Jazzy Jeff that night.

    You oughta come out cuz it’s not very often we get to see such well-known collectors and collections in this part of the county, ya know?

    DJ Clark Kent, MAYOR, DJ Greg Street, All-Day, Franalations, Sole Supreme….the list goes on and on and on. Definitely gonna be some heat in the building!
