Nike Zoom Kobe V “All-Star”

On the heels of yesterday’s look at King James’ All-Star Air Max LeBron VIIs, we get a look at Kobe’s own signature model done in a special trim for the same game. And if there is one thing sports fan need more of, it’s a Kobe vs. LeBron debate.

The colored hardwood seems to be Nike‘s main design piece for this year’s game, as it appears on the forefoot and midfoot in red for these Zoom Kobe Vs in the same way it did in blue for LBJ. Red Flywire covers the mid-panel, matching up with the top of the toe. Black appears on the cloth heel and the midsole. This shoe is also the first pair we’ve seen use an icy outsole that is available with the iD options. Finally, a brown leather patch on the heel of the insole marked “West” finishes off this special colorway. These will hit House of Hoops locations and select Foot Lockers on February 12th, 2010.

I was at the House of Hoops on Saturday Morning at 6am to pick up the Bruce Lee Kobe V’s, I also picked up the Lebron All Star which are nice. I didn’t expect to pick em up but too good to pass up. Can’t wait for these to come out.
