“Yeah, I got on flip-flops, White Louis boat shoes…” – Jay-Z, On to the Next One.

Recently, Jay-Z’s On to the Next One music video surfaced, and there was much conversation about its peculiarity. Although Jay-Z didn’t have on his white Louis boat shoes, he still made light of his sneakers, the Clae Khan, a couple of times throughout the video.

If you recall, Clae introduced this newly-designed sneaker in the fall of 2009. The Khan simply takes on the look of a typical boot-inspired silhouette. Its black leather base, which also owns a removable ankle strap, rests atop a white cupsole. You can purchase a pair on Clae’s online store for $135.

Clae is way cool don’t get me wrong but since he was talking about his “white Louis boat shoes” they should have shown those in the vid. I saw the vid on new years eve when it was first aired and it was sooo weird….

I have been reppin claes since their 06 comback long before Jay and Tom Cruise started rockin them, and I will continue to do so whether they or any other celebrity decides to jump on da boat. Clae is dat ish!! Also, everyone should just buy and rock what they like. Forget the hypebeasts and naysayers. Stop trying to be different and u can admire the trendsetters, but don’t follow them. Set ur own trends. Jus do u and keep it 100!!
