Now, more than 22 years since Nike, Wieden + Kennedy, MJ, and Spike Lee teamed up, the legendary impact of Mars continues.Starting in 2006, Jordan Brand began a campaign paying tribute and thanks to Spike Lee and Mars Blackmon. What first started with the “Mars” Air Jordan 4′s were soon followed by a future staple to the Jordan Brand catalogs – the Jordan Spiz’ike. This shoe was a mashup of all the models that Spike Lee worked alongside Michael Jordan to promote including the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, 6, and 20.
