With this year being the 25th year anniversary of Jordan sneakers, we are sure to see more and more classic Jordan 1 retros as the year continues. With that said, we have now received photos of an upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro AJKO.

This past October, rumors circulated the web stating that the Air Jordan 1 Retro AJKO was coming back in 2010; it seems this will be true. Many sneaker enthusiasts undoubtedly love the Air Jordan 1 Retro AJKO because of its all-canvas upper. Yet, this upcoming AJKO adds a vintage look that seems to be well-received by lots of people on any sneaker. Specifically, this sneaker possesses a rust-like, worn-out midsole along with an outsole of the same. As for the colorway, it owns one of the more recognizable schemes seen on shoes in the form of white/varsity red-black. Is this a must-have for you when it eventually releases in the fall of 2010?     Not the biggest fan of the vintaged look and I think they’ve slightly overdone it on this one. However it IS an AJ1 KO and one of the sexiest AJ colourwaya of all time so a definite cop for me!

    I’m really, really surprised to see this retro…it’s such a rare shoe–I’m guessing there are some collectors who are pissed right about now. However…I do love the AJ1 and it was cool when Nike started releasing the OG’s with vintage look, yet new rubber/stars. I’ll probably look for these on a Saturday in the future.

    Had these on my list for 2010 but I really think that they did over do the vintage here. I will still snag a pair but really wish they were crisp instead of Abercrombied out.

    If JB decides to lose that rust and all that vintage looked BS, I’ll pick up a pair. I’ll try my best to repaint this shoe or clean the rust and yellow the sole. I’ll customize it myself, thanks.

    THIS was the 1st AJ I ever laid eyes on when a cat aat my church rocked’em to youh group and my broke ass was almost in tears! It was so rare I thought I had just imagined it or made it up in my head! This sneaker started the lust for me… didn’t realize it fully until I had a part-time job and copped my first AJ IV.

    This is a must. Although like others, I’ll use my substantial sneakerhead skills to off that rust!

    idk. i’m 50/50 on these. i like the fact that they’re Is, KO, and white/red/black. i don’t like the dirtied soles though. seriously. let us do that on our own! but i’m leaning more towards getting them then not.

    Fact is, most of that “weathering” Nike puts on these vintaged shoes comes off after a little while.

    Here’s ma only beef..it elimantes the fact of keeping a shoe fresh or ds..cuz all these lil hypebeast fuk there kicks up and when bust ur out a few months or years later super fresh u won’t be able to tell the diffrenence!..so I say make em fresh and in time they will yellow out..but no1 likes this look until they actually and old shoe but as a new release they don’t look right

    Love the KO, Hate the sole…. plus, thers been alot of 1′s out recently, so an easy pass for me.
    i just dont see the point of the “vintage” look. all you gotta do is go out to a bar, get drunk as f**k, then the next morning your kicks will look extra “vintage”. seems like they are just for people who want it too look like they get out more than they do.

    We love the KO but we want them fresh not regady ass! Trhats for us to do JB not you!!!! The whole point of the retro is that its a FRESH return of an old beloved shoe..otherwise we might aswell buy’m deadbeat from a bloody charity store!!

    Thank you jordan brand for not f*@king up a classic! The yellowed sole fits the shoe. Just pleeease, dont start dropping these in patent leather, polka dots, ridiculous colors, and/or a pair every month like what happened with the 1′s….. thanks!

    KOs should not be retroed. they have too much history. it would be like dropping some bordeauxs. I mean I like KOs and bordeauxs but not in retro form. REAL heads are not gonna like this one cause what if they paid 2000 on ebay for some DS ones and then they release the retro? How would you feel if you found some og anythings and then a retro dropped? you would feel pretty damn pissed wouldn’t you? Classics like these should be placed in the same category as SBs. I know that not many heads want sbs to be retroed because it is simply not done. IT KILLS THE EXCLUSIVITY and in my opinion retroes are killing the shoe game. The only reason retroes exist is because Nike can’t come up with something better (that more consumers like) so they have to bring back their successful models. Nike at least drop some KOs without being dirty and without a big ugly Jordan sign on the tongue. keep them looking og by removing that jordan sign. I know you heads that don’t like the retro jordan 1-6s without that NIKE AIR on the back. Keep them like they used to be or don’t drop them at all.
