The adidas Fortitude Mid melds the aesthetic characteristics of sneakers and boots. The combination is executed smoothly. This is evidenced as the rugged boot-like features: reinforced collar, burly hiking laces, and external lace eyelets do not interrupt the flowing sneaker-like lines through the upper and midsole. Perhaps this shoe will provide itself as a suitable compromise between boot weather and a sneaker personality.
