Now, we come down to the last two spots on Complex’s Top 10 Sneakers of 2009. Coming in at the number 2 spot is the Patta x Nike Air Max 1.     I love the collabs Patta does because it’s always some low key yet really nicely done stuff. Everyone knows about Jordans and tries to get the big releases when they come out, this stuff is easier to get yet harder to find.

    Of course these are b4 AJ’sSJ just my opinion son just look at sneaker they chose and the material even tho I would’ve chosen the one with the cord/denim/suade it’s just the thought that was put into that project beside J’ are J’s and a brand of on its own that holds weight Patta getting more out there. Fam think about out not to take anything away from SJ but these Patta will never come out again. The SJ will release again within a couple of more years and again and the patta’s wont.

    cacaboy i feel u but this is about the best shoes of 09. to me this patta is only known to people like dj clark kent and the mayor. the streets have no say. if clark kent said the best is the shoe nike only made for him thats what he will put up there. people lost their mind for the sj’s. but the patta is something the mayor and clark kent and a bunch of over paid over fed people loose sleep over

    souled, its tru i like fresh kicks for the myself and the ladies. ive been collecting, excuse me more like vaulting my kicks for years now. i like when girls brake ad stare at what ever i have on. and i do get some satisfaction out of kids salivating over the mr cartoons i wear every cinco de mayo. even though im not hyperbeast gay like your self. i would rather have ladies stop and stare than to be that guy who dresses like nerd who just got there lunch money taken, and got there patta’s thrown on a power line.

    I’m not confused about the year. They came out in December 00. I copped in January 01. Like I said, “was hot to ME in 01″
    And, no, it’s not impossible to have an icy pair of shoes 8 years later. Slide me your email if you want proof.

    At this point, I’m over what shoe is RANKED where on the list. Hottest shoes of 09 in NO particular order is enough for me. I really coulda did without that SB Bruin…but, whatever.

    But, i gotta disagree about who KNOWS about the PATTA shoe. I, like most of the heads on this site, am not on Clark Kent, Mayor status on shoes…but, I know a little something. This is a REAL SNEAKERHEADS shoe. And, as limited as that white/purple shoe is and for someone to not be in the US and get their hands on a pair is SERIOUS.

    AND, like Cacaboy said, you’re NOT going to see these shoes again.

    Remember we dont have to Agree with the Complex “Top 10 of ‘-09-” but from what they chose they pretty much chose the best Of 09′ but I would’ve listed in different order and to me it would not matter cause I cop what I like I dont follow herd and beside’s I have the majority of everything on that list.

    To me I thought the Pigeon Converse were a nice Release again thats my opinion.

    for me, these were the best shoes of the year. kicks like Space Jams, or Yeezys sold out ‘cos of hype, not quality or looks. These are the real deal. Excellent colors and materials on a top 5 all time silhouette.
    i got the white n greens an the chords…… but daaaam i wana find the purple denim ones.

    Rich Rich, just shut up. Seriously.

    I guess you can wrap me in that group “over paid” and “over fed”. Anything Patta touches is gold. Period. They know their materials, colors, structure, etc. and how to bring it all together. They take time and effort with their design. JB, as of late, just slaps some colors together and re-releases the same dam thing over and over. It’s already been said in the clip and been posted here: They make sneakers for those of us who love sneakers and you will never see these again.

    So it’s okay for people to lose their dam minds over the Space Jam’s, but if I anticipate this sneaker, all of a sudden I get clowned? Tell you what, you and the dam “streets” can keep your mass produced, synthetic, half-a**ed quality retro and I’ll gladly take the quality, thought-out, simple and clean made for the “over paid” and “over fed”. I could give less of a damn what the “streets” think about my kicks. Half the time, it’s the “streets” asking me about my kicks to begin with.

    Now if you excuse me, I’m going to put in my order for a pair of the Patta designed Pro-Keds. Clown. *lol* :P

    I’m sorry but these air maxes look like they were made for grandmas and grandpas. I understand the fact that it’s an OG style but that doesn’t mean they look good. I would NEVER buy these. Ever.

    yea 1 is def lebron VII like i predicted.. because its the only sneaker released this year to get as much hype as it did being a brand new design, it gives hope that people dont have to rock retros, we can look to the future designs as inovative and stylish
