As you have seen in our previous sneaker geeks, movies have, and will continue to play a big role in our lives and the sneaker culture. However, it was television shows that gave us a since of ‘family time’ first.

With that said, our Nice Kicks staff dug into the archives and compiled a list of some of the best TV show inspired sneakers that have shown up over the years. The “Daktari” Dunks kick off our list of the best tv show inspired sneakers. These Dunks, which are one of the more rarely-seen sneakers today, were inspired by the 1960 tv show named Daktari. It was most famous for its main character, Clarence the cross-eyed lion and its zebra-striped jeeps. The latter obviously being the inspiration for these Dunks. Nonetheless, 99.99999% of you never saw the show!

    I would have to choose the Mork and mindy’s. I wanted to choose the entourage’s but that version is lame. The other ones i believe are the Turtles, are way doper.
