Courtesy of a photoscan of a Nike catalogue, we have a glance at the fourth edition of the P. Rod series. ?These shots show that P. Rod and his Nike SB team aimed for a simplified design for the Nike Zoom Paul Rodriguez 4. The catalogue also displays that the P. Rod 4 will be constructed in both hi-top and low-top silhouettes retailing at $80 and $95 respectively.

The two featured colorways and those of the thumbnails are all likely to be a part of the shoe’s initial launch. There will be plenty more colorways of the 4 to come if it is to follow in the tradition of its predecessors. Expect the Nike Zoom P. Rod 4 to drop in August of 2010.     The highs look light as fudge which is dope for skating. When I used to skate in the late 80z, aside from vans and airwalks, we skated in basketball kicks. The prod highs remind me of them good old dayz. Good ish lil paulito for keeping it true to the sport by designing a shoe for the sport. All these haterz are just jealous of a dope lil Latino kid makin’ it! We’re proud of you P-ROD.

    MAN! THESE ARE AWESOME! IF YOU CANT SEE HOW INNOVATIVE THE DESIGN OF THESE SHOES ARE THEN YOU ARE A FOOL! IM WILLING TO BET THAT THIS SHOE WILL BE RELEASHED IN MANY VERSIONS FOR YEARS TO COME. ITS KINDA REMINDS ME OF WHEN THE AIR FORCE ONE WAS RELEASED.

    I love the angle of the back part of the highs, how they cut back towards the ankle. Very future retro… I think these are pretty sick for a skate shoe.

    These seem way better than the 3′s! The 3′s looked like kids shoes.

    I think the 3s are the dopest cuz they got more detail and feel for the board. These just don’t look like good skating shoes;looks like they made them in a hurry cuz their to simple.

    what happened to the tech sole? whole point of p-rods shoe was to have a technical sole with a luxurious feel to the materials like nice detailing (prod-2's) instead theyve been getting worse and worse since the 2. Obviously nike has to cut costs somewhre and p-rod is unlucky enough to be hit by it. the 4's look like a basic etnies or es shoe and just suck. watch the recent Tampa pro cop that he won and you'll see how utter shit they look. backwards fashion

    Anyone who thinks these are better then the 3's is lying. Cant talk trash on Paul cause he's my dude, but honestly they dont compare to the 3's or 2's. IT SHOULD BE A REAL SKATE SHOE

    I was just thinking about how much I liked p-rods shoes because of the technical aspects of them. They pull some inspiration from jordans as well as basketball shoes. I think he already filled his slim/vulcanized sole look with the 2.5's and these are not necessary. He should stick to his roots or even better just not release a shoe for a couple of more years!!!!! all his previous models are still classics! These look too much like many other nike sbs! I am dissappointed

    nah these r dope for actually skating in, take a closer look has a new toe design for better board feel and other stuff for performance. not bad…
