Over the past decade and beyond, great NBA matchups have been nothing less than an intricate part of Christmas Day. It is our chance to see some of the best players in the game go head to head. These players undoubtedly bring their best game and they do it in style. With that said, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see a recap of what some of your favorite players were wearing on Christmas Day.

There was quite a few sneakers stories and debuts around the NBA yesterday to say the least. First off, Kobe Bryant and a few of his Lakers teammates unleashed the Nike Zoom Kobe V on the court for the first time this season. Bryant, Derek Fisher, Shannon Brown and Lamar Odom all rocked the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Chaos”, while some of the fans were seen in their own Kobe V colorways. On the contrary, LeBron James debuted the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Christmas” in a winning effort against the Lakers. Yesterday also brought about the debut of the Air Jordan Alpha 1 on the court. Players such as Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen, Quentin Richardson and Jared Jeffries all wore different colorways of the Air Jordan Alpha 1. At first I wasnt really feeling the Alpha 1′s. But after seeing the OG colorway that Wade is wearing, it definitely has won me over. The quality of the perforated leather is better than the patent leather version they had a few years back IMO.

SmartDad “parents just don’t understand”. If I sold my sneaker collection at about half of what they are worth I’d probaly be able to put a down payment on a house. Only right now sneakers are probaly a safer investment. I have plenty of time for the ladies as well. Trust me.
