The first time Nike tried bringing back retro Air Jordans after Money retired in the 90′s things didn’t go so well, but the results couldn’t be far from disappointing when the retro campaign began again in 1999. ?In 2000 a number of coveted models of Air Jordans returned including the Air Jordan 11. ?The “Concords” were the first colorway to make it back, but for the holiday season, Jordan Brand gave everyone a chance to wear the shoes that could wear while singing “I Believe I Can Fly.” ?Priced at $125, the Space Jam Air Jordan 11′s did not last in retailers long and started reselling for a healthy profit immediately. ?As years went by, the value continued to rise even as the soles began to yellow. ?In their prime, a pristine pair could fetch as much as $650 – I doubt even Nike’s stock performed that well during those years!
