Bape continues to unleash some very nice sneakers including the Evening Sta, the Woodland Camo Bapesta and the Wood Land Pack. In addition, Bape will be premiering another new silhouette in the form of this Sta Gingham.

The Sta Gingham goes in the opposite direction of the previously mentioned Bape releases seeing that it possesses a high-cut silhouette. Its design obviously draws inspiration from the classic Chuck Taylor to say the least. As for the makeup design, this shoe features a check pattern on the upper similar to a picnic cloth. The Sta Gingham is now available at Bape’s online store in red/white, black/white and navy blue/white. Click here to view the Sta Gingham lineup in its entirety.

Although the logos and the clothing line is cool, the BAPE shoe line needs MUCH originality. Just because the shoes are expensive doesn’t make them any better IMO. Decent colorways (others may think not), but the fact that they stole the silhouette kills em.

bape pisses on consumers with every shoe release. they copy already established classics almost to the tee, throw a monkey on it , triiple the msrp, and used alleged “premium” materials. unless you are a celebrity and get em for free no one should rock bapes, at least until they step their sneaker game up. at least when gucci or louis bite chucks or other classic silhouettes they add something to it.
