The AJ11 “Space Jam” may be the retro release everyone is waiting for, but only weeks after it releases, Jordan Brand is hitting us with yet another classic in the Air Jordan 6. We’ve seen a few pics before, but now we get a great detailed look at these January releases.

As you know, Varsity Red has been substituted on the midsole in place of the classic Infrared, though it’s fair to say we can all agree it will do the trick. The icy outsole is of course back as well. The lace lock and tongue Jumpman logo are done up in the same shade of red. These are the first releases of the 6, but of course more are scheduled for early 2010 including the Black/White/Splatter pair we saw in depth awhile back. Be on the lookout, because classics are on their way.

Man I had these when I was a youngin and these are way better than nubuck, you guys are trippin get ovwr the whole 2000 sh8T retro and classics cuz they aint going to take them out again for a Looooooong time so get use to it.

Im goin to cop these . A true sneaker head would. They are the same as wen they first came out. After I get the space jams. I will be snatching those ib january . 2010 will be da year wen a bunch of exclusive come out. Ya’ll betta try and stack ya’ll change. Cause I already did . Lol . Let da jordans begin . Real talk!

these are not the best retro of 2010 or even the best 6 retro that releases next year. people overhype these jus as much as they did the space jams plus these pics do not do them justice jus like the flu game 12s they will have a longer shelf life jus tlike them

SMH…what a disappointment. Jordan Brand couldn’t even get this one right. No infrared and that cheap looking suede. I bet they’ll still charge $150-170 for these and make it a “limited release”.

I have to say that i like these black n red retro 6. they are a must have in the break out in 2010. i will definately cop these fresh azz jays. JB please release sum more retros in 2010.

According to the nike site these will drop on “1/23/2010″ for $150!!!! No word yet on if they are General Release or Limited..

Whoever said leather nubuck and suede are all different materials is kinda right. nubuck is leather just the back side.
The old school nubuck 6′s looked way cleaner but i’ll still probably cop. Clean shoe but def not the same

First off these are a disaster!!! Second (and I will continue to complain and state) Why would Nike and JB put infrared on every fourth shoe, but THEN not put the color on a shoe that RIGHTFULLY deserves it!!! I don’t give a damn about all these “new” colorways of the six. JB should have treated these like the 11’s and only brought out hot packs, one or two new GOOD colorways, and on special occasions ie a Christmas release given us the OG colorways. CMON black and varsity red!!!…. A color combo that has been on every single shoe by every single vendor since 1989!!!!

I got mines today at footlocker for $113. I had on dunks goin there and i felt like I could dunk but when i put on the 6’s i felt like Jordan.

first of all these are wacks have you noticed every single shoe since the burnt fusions have had bad quality? the 12′s maybe but all the nubuck were worth gettin but the flu games jordan needs to keep his kicks original and stop tweaking with the colorways and material.its sad to see not even these re retroed shoes are gettin sold out thats how you know there not like they use to be. im so disappointed to see a great shoe go to waste
