At only 21, third-year forward Kevin Durant is definitely a rising star in the NBA, proving time and time again that bench press reps don’t put the ball in the bucket. And for his second signature sneaker with Nike, he’s strapping up to hopefully carry his team to a playoff berth.

We saw a sneak peek of this exact sneaker when Nice Kicks went 1 on 1 with Kevin, but now we’re finally getting a look at the real thing. The majority of the upper is done with black leather, while a textured, matte finish is used around the base and on the strap. The KD logo returns here on that tongue, and “Two” is spelled out just below it. The same Zoom sole looks to have returned from the KD1, and hopefully it’s only a matter of time before Durant is seen wearing these in Kicks On Court.

rockin the aj2 heel pannel i see. idk mang i wasn’t feelin the split vibe from the kd1 but these are a lil better. the strap is kinda too much, and the kd over the laces looks childish (well i guess kd still looks like a kid even thouh he’s a flippin stud ya heardd). i’ve never felt the oak city colorway, it’s just not doin’ it for me. but keep in mind kobe and bron bron have had some ugly signature sneaks (kobe2’s, bron5’s).

I wouldnt rock them…but they ok..I mean its a NEW shoe..not some re done 100 times sh*t..Im feelin that about em..An the fact that they make this shoe cheap enough for the folks who cant afford other styles! thats a good show of charactor for him. IMO

i like these shoes. you have to remember why durant signed with nike, it was to produce a cost effective shoe. if i a right it was always suppose to be around $80. that is a walmart price compared to the rest of the basketball shoes. the kd1 were a great shoe too.
