    vulc is for skating.
    some actually look better like tha vaider n some look just as good as the originals.
    others are just not meant for vulc. it is bein overdone tho, n gourmets are niiiiice duuuuude!

    Any shoe with vulcanized soles look like its a disabled/ orthopedic version of its original counterpart. Ugghhh FFFUUUGGGGLLLLYYYY

    I agree with TomO majority of the shoes on here were better left alone and retroed classic however they did fit nice with some of the shoes i think that overall it depends really if it flows well with the upper body of the sneaker i am not going to lie vulc looked really clean on dunks but it shouldnt replace the dunks sole completely

    For the most part, I don’t like vulc soles. However I love my Auto Flights but would rather see more Air Flight Lites.

    i think it depends on the shoe. looks good on some, on others it looks horrible.

    Gourmet’s are the best case scenario IMO and those Wades are the worst. no wonder he left Converse.

    They work on a few, but I think they only improve the feel of one shoe, the toki. the black prefs are so clean

    FLAT on the nose….
    all these flight auto, force 180 auto, watever auto……all i know is, if i see the word ‘auto’
    with the shoe, i know its gonna fall FLAT on the nose.

    I rock with the vulcanized sole, as long as it doesn’t become a dominating trend. It’s good for what it is, but only in doses. The only shoe in this line up that bothered me were the Wades.

    the one time dunk release is straight as long as they dont keep coming out with other versions.. as for the rest, the supras work as does any skate shoe.. the rest are FLAT

    LAME O, if i wanted a vulc sneaker i’d buy one!! Who wants a vulc dunk or jordan or whatever, chucks are chucks, jordans are jordans, big companies trying to make a quick buck doesnt make me like their sneakers anymore…..

    UMM not to be picky but Nicekicks got the Puma mid one wrong. the after isn’t the Puma mid at all it’s the Puma Hooper. might want to take that one off.

    vulc sneaks are a trend outside of the skate world. looks ok on other sneakers but not amazing. it will be over soon hopefully. vulc soles look best on skate sneakers, thats what they are designed for.
    and they get scuffed waaay to easily. on all my vans there is a black scuff mark on the heel of each right shoe from wearing them while driving. even after cleaning vigorously its still a little apparent. thats why i keep a pair of driving kicks with me. gotta avoid creases and scuffs at all costs.

    I don’t think “vulc”-soles work with everything but it does look good on some. But I particularly don’t like those type of shoes anyway. Flat soled shoes are too uncomfortable. That’s why I only have 1-2 pairs of dunks, blazers, or aj1. Don’t like flat soled shoes.

    Skate shoes look great as vulcans.

    Basketball shoes look wack as vulcans.

    Mr. Spock looks perfect as a vulcan.

    it all depends on what the kick is for. The Gourmet line up is nice. They are not Jordan’s just used the silouette. I got both and it all depends on what you are doing. You cant wear J’s for every event, im sorry.

    The air force 180 aint even athletic when you vulcanize them. They look like a preppy/athletic mix that doesnt work.
    Most old school sneaks dont look right with vulcanized soles to me. But the newer styles look ok for the most part

    WTF!!! i hadnt notice so many shoes had been vulcanized. jordans…really thats stupid and ugly.

    speakin from a 100% skateboarder background, vulc shoes suck, they’re cheap(price and quality) they fall apart and wear out fast as hell. i got a pair of es square ones and the soles just fell off. i havent even ripped through the toe yet. and the es accel’s i had were amazing. vulcs definitely dont take impact as well either. the only positive is that the board feels nice under your feet…but i mean…thats relative. im tired of the diveristy im loosin when i walk into the shop

    i will admit vulcing did improves some shoes, like the tokis…but what they did to those J’s was horrible and i dont like jordans….and the es kostons….dont even look right at all

    wow gourmet was really bitin’ off jordans hard.. but they got their own styles now, some of them are very good-looking

    i think most shoes look better with their original sole, except for the supras. those are actually much better with the vulcanised one.

    Vulc soles are garbo! At best you create a whole new shoe design when you add the sole, at worse, you ruin an original by slappin’ that crappy looking, lunch meat-flat soles on some joints. Out of the examples shown, maybe three work; The Sabaku, Supra (which I’m not a fan of to begin with), maybe the Magmas. The rest are awful, particularly the Delta Forces and Jordans. Vulcanising: Don’t do it!

    I feel some shoes look better with them like the air zoom toki’s but they are not for every shoe like the dunk ac s but all in all its more fashion foward than falling

    i think those dunks look fresh. ive always wanted to see just a flat out color on dunks but some hav been to brite some to dull but i think these are perfect! i love them :)

    If it looks good then yea if not then no, dont put it on every shoe. 1 thing i hate about vulcanized soles the white ones at least is that it is hard 2 keep them clean

    Vulc soles are dope but dont ruin a perfectly good sneaker by adding something completely different to it leave the shoe as it is

    Not all the vulc’s look bad but none of them are better than the OGs…
    (maybe the toki’s)
