The Good – Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection

Some of you have criticized this collection ever since you first laid eyes on it; however, can you really put down sneakers that were created for a good cause? This Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection was designed by kid patients who attended the Doernbecher Childrens Hospital. The hospital, which is located in Portland, Oregon, caters to kids with cancer and other diseases. With that said, the proceeds from this shoe will help raise money for the aforementioned hospital. Definitely, a great group of shoes for a good cause. Also, you must applaud the kids’ sneaker designs!

  • Ajo

lmao @ the only good Doerbecher being pushed all the way to the left in that picture. Them Doernbecher 6′s are incredible but the rest…blah

  • Bo Jackson

C’mon. Little kids designed these. Give em a break.

  • word is bond – thats whats up

You need to take a long look in the mirror if you’re gonna hate on these kids’ designs
As for the 2010s – the silhouette is good, but the window is killin it. If they wanna a window – fine – but why does it have to be a circle, it throws everything off – its like someone to a big hole punch to the shoe, if it was integrated than ok

  • greenmaker24

all three are ugly in my opinion

  • Shaun

I was one of the many people at Nike Sportswear on Saturday to cop the Air Jordan Doernbecher VIs. These sneakers are crazy. The suede is unbeatable and the design overall is ridiculous. I have a thing for icy soles and the outsoles on these are iciest soles I have ever seen. Much love to all the kids who came up with the design and creation for this series. It was a great cause and I can’t wait to see what designs will be available next year.

  • ?neaker

The Good, The Disappointment, & The Ugly

personally this shoe is fine – if you take off that circle/window (what ever) from there..

I like the simplicity of it and that round thing sure did the job of ruining the design.. makes no sense at all..

  • nict

im pretty sure theyre gonna bring out special socks with a jumpman in place of the window..

  • sci

i heard the same thing socks with cement print and diff. things that you will see in the window

  • rising_tied

    Bad AND Ugly Triple Threat

  • zooomvanquish

The window on the 2010 should have been flowing with the design and more aesthetically appealing not a plane circle in my opinion

  • Uwait4daReleaseIbeenHadEM

they all need work minus the doernbechers and why is reebok even around———they need to stick to nfl jerseys and leave it at that because in the shoe game they are deceased

  • lmnop

the Doerbechers are ugly.. but for a good cause, you guys realy need an NHS so sick kids don’t need charity.
the 2010s are ugly as f**k, but i doubt they were made to be a fashion shoe, just a shame JBs aint amazing to ball in.
and the reeboks are for them skinny jean/massive shoe wearin kids who have no concept of color and think these retarded lookin goofie colourways like plastic camo and red are cool.

  • Unkleventrikel

Hmmm…. this site seems to be an anti-Reebok site.

  • this guy says…

    all these are butt

  • RCH89

Window is the same thing as CLEAR to me….i know it has a different purpose than regualar CLEAR shoes…but, i dont like any shoes that you can see right through…………

  • d.knott01(detroit fresh)

I BET IF THOSE REEBOKS WERE BAPES, THE HYPEBEAST WOULD BE SALIVATING ALL OVER THEM. I THINK THEY ARE COOL. WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IN LIKE 2006 BUT COOL NONE THE LESS.

  • Wow

Pretty sure that sole would blend in with soil quite easily. I really don’t see how the Jordans didn’t end up in the ugly section, those things are far from what Jordans used to look like/should look like. If that’s the newest edition to the evolution of great looking/performing basketball shoes then hopefully a comet just hits Jordan Brand in Beaveton in 2012
