Skate Mental x Nike SB Dunk High Premium

When we first got a look at this Skate Mental and Nike SB collab, responses were mixed, as some of our readers loved the brown suede color-up, placing it on par with the Gucci/RESN and “Bloody Gums,” and others not feeling them at all. Now we get a better look at them though, and it’s likely some of your opinions will be swayed.

As you can see, the tongue tag was changed for production from the last look we had, which had the standard SB tag. These show the “SM” logo instead, adding a nice bit of branding for Skate Mental. The uppers are comprised of Premium quality suede in a dark tan, while the toe portion gets treated to an off white hue. Accents come by way of a Carolina blue Swoosh, tongue surround and liner, while a gum outsole finished the colorway. These are available at select retailers, including CaliRoots.

Splashy, it’s a SB general release, they don’t get actual dates, just a timeframe. Most shops will be getting these in at some point in the next week or so I’d guess. Try your local skate shop.

thanks to wale and other bloggers dunks, especially sb’s, are going to be getting trashed for the next couple year regardless of how dope they look. these case in point, are dope and the jacket goes well too. i probably wouldn’t cop the jacket thought because i’m not with the manican in the window look and prefer to put my own fits together.
