Nike Trainer 1 “New York”

A game away from yet another World Series championship, the Yankees are one of the most successful franchises ever, in any sport. And to pay tribute to their success, past and present, Nike has put together this Trainer 1, which will be available this month.

Using a mixture of navy blue nubuck and white leather on the upper, these are a perfect match for your Yankees fitted. Like with any sneaker, the “good is in the details,” as these feature inspired insoles, tongue labels and even heel panels. On the tongue labels, pinstripes are used, as with the insoles, where the retired jersey numbers of Yankees greats are also seen. The heel panels, where the Trainer 1 usually reads “Nike,” instead reads “New” and “York” on separate shoes.
