Jordan CP3.III Detailed Photos

Jordan CP3.III Detailed Photos

We got our first look at Chris Paul’s third signature sneaker not too long ago, and it grabbed a lot of attention. From comparison to the Air Jordan XXII and talk of CP sticking to Jordan PEs, the reception was a grab bag of positive and negative reaction.

Now we have not only detailed photos for you, but a release date–January 2, 2010. In the photos linked to above, we see a carolina/black colorway, and while this pair uses a Hornets jersey-matching “orion blue” color for its main accent, it uses a very similar black and white upper. The mid-panel section uses laser etching of New Orleans-inspired designs. A small detail to make note of also is the different stitching pattern along the white section of the upper from the sample we saw. The midsole also features a speckled white and black design.

How do the CP3.IIIs stack up against Melo’s M6? Might we see Dwyane Wade wear a PE pair of these to show some respect for his JB-teammate? Head to the comments section and let us know.

  • j gram

    look like the 22′s

  • Just

I like the makeup… want to see more colorways…

  • HighonHitops

These are nice. These in black and red would be real nice.

  • RDQLUS

Isn’t that the same bottom that will be used on the new ‘AJ2010′? The tread pattern kind of looks like some of that retro’d RBK Hexalite mess. Hmmm?

But I bet they fit well. Most all the J’s feel good to ball in.

  • k.r.e.a.m.

i made a design just like dis 1 for da futuresole contest!!!! except the tongue was more like the aj5′s!!! But anyways, i think dese r da only teams imma cop dis year!!!

  • Kindly

I’m sorry, these aren’t that bad, but, the designers over at Jumpan have really gotten lazy (and that’s not to say they’ve ever been overactive). There’s nothing special about this or the Melo’s.

  • this guy says…

    these are really nice

  • Shawti P

These are fresh. The CPs never dissapoint. The melos are no match, they look like they should have been an aj old skool or something. These are a cop!!

  • dopasaurus

nice and clean. the look fast.

  • zack

    i love the honeycomb sole!

  • VinnyB

These are hot. Look like a retro Jumpman Pro Quick

  • word is bond – thats it and thats all

they still look chunky and heavy to me
i would like to see a performance review
and i hate how the outsole is split right at the toe
other than that theyre not too bad but nothin special here

  • shuru

seems like traction would be superb just like the cp3.II. hopefully the fit and everything either matches or exceeds the cp3.II, besides a newer model has to be better or it wont sell right ? well im copping the cp3.II and these in january and see how it performs next to the younger sibling. but as far as of right now, not badd kind of a better look than the cp3.II in my opinion.

  • mints

The detailed photos look better than anything else we’ve seen so far. I guess I’ll hold off my final judgements until they come out next year.

These aren’t bad at all. They may be the best pair of CP3′s I’ve seen yet, aside from his PE’s. I’m liking the honey comb-like design on the outsole for the Hornets.

  • greenmaker24

    boring

  • tmax224

this is a good design. the silhouette reminds me of the jordan 3…and this is the cp3. cant wait to see other colorways

  • dAsh.

at first i thought these sucked compared to the first two CPs
but looking at them now i think these will do pretty well
especially once Jordan starts pourin in colorways
    they’re nice

  • a.k.

  • mycle72012

plain……. the bottom of the shoe is the best part!

  • d.knott01(detroit fresh)

i always like chris pauls’ kicks. he has had the best signature line so far for the Jordan Brand, even better than the last of the numbered jordan’s.

  • jarrell bell

lacks a lot detail. looks a lot like the Answer XII’s I like the II’s over these III’s. major drop off

  • thechamp504
