On Thanksgiving Day, we showcased the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” as one of the 15 Sneakers We’re Most Thankful For Returning in ‘09. This highly anticipated sneaker was one of two sneakers on the list that we are still awaiting (the other was the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” that released a day after our feature). However, we will now have to wait just a day after its original release date.

With that said, Jordan Brand has rescheduled the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” to December 24th, 2009. This potentially makes Christmas shopping that much more hectic and last-minute to say the least. However the prolonged wait (it’s just a day people) will make the drop all the more special. Check out the official release date information below.

    Already preordered mine so I don’t really care, but the whole situation involving these shoes is kind of weird. First everyone who is willing to pay $300 gets them early, and now the date has been changed for the 2nd time.

    They are a general release, coming in all sizes including toddler. They’ll be in limited quantities though.

    $175 is a hefty price ! Why are Jordans so expensive ? Its not liek there the best material &x they get fxcked up faster then the average shoe if you ask me .. But nobody did ask me so let me shut up &x blend in …. Dope Shoe !!

    Luckily for me they won’t sell out where I live because me and my friend are the only sneakerheads within like 500 miles of the nearest shoe stores. So if you want a pair or two just come down to frickin hickville where I live :D

    I hope I’m not the only person that’s glad they’re changing the date. My office will be completely dead on the 24th so I can spend the hours I’d normally while away at my desk on the site riding around town and picking up a few pairs of these to keep on ice. Now I just need to find a way to keep them in a cool dry spot in my house from here until I’m ready to break them out.

    Is anyone thinking about hoopin in theirs? I mean they are dope and all but they are a reissue and they are shoes. I think im going to break them out for the spring semester and watch the haters hate.

    buy two pairs floss in one hoop in the other….wouldnt reccomend it but that would be a hell of a stunt assumeing not too many people will try to pull that off.

    They are coming in different sizes so that tells you they are going to be general release but limited quanities like most jordan retros. Thats whats up tho, gonna cop a pair for my daughter.

    its just sad that the damn soles get so ugly that is the only reason y i say the bred XI’s r better than these, because of the sole, come on though nike can cum up with something that will stop the yellowing@!!!!!!! im sure of it

    Fresh sneaker….so u say that the bottom part of the sneak turns yellow due to oxygen ..???? I normally wrap up my sneakers in seran ( plastic clear wrap) wrap … Jus to keep moisture and dust out… Copd da 11/12 cdp in dec n didnt wear dem til july on a cruise … Def cop for me n will no doubt get da seran wrap treatment asap….

    I’m in agreement with END$,
    the ice sole is nice at first, but it turns yellow after a short period of time and makes the shoe lose its beauty and kills any chance at sustaining long-term value.
    The Space Jams that Jordan actually wore with the bloody ice sole held up better, and so those are the ones I’ll be waiting to see come back.
    Good thing people with a craving for Bred this year can still get the flu game XII’s.
    …which now that I think about it, I may have to do.

    those black and green 1/2 cents are a disappointment. i have the black joints and they are basically the same except for the green bottom———-easy pass but i do got 2 pair of the royals, the black on blaCK AND the silver joints that i dropped 235 on and they are everywhere for 169 now

    I’m coppin these my mom giving me some money for x-mas so don’t have to pay for the whole thing and hope i have to work the night they come because i work downtown couple blocks from the store I go to that release retro jordans at 12:00am i get and i get off aroung 10:50 should to beat most people in the line!!!! then i’m going to sell them on ebay for way more their worth hahahahaha.
