Nike Air Flight Lite IINike Basketball created the lightest basketball shoe ever in 1991 with the release of the Nike Air Flight Lite.  The following season, Nike was back at it again with an even better version, the Nike Air Flight Lite II.

Improving on the fit of the Flight Lite, the shoes returned with the same lightweight and comfortable cushioning, but a stripped down and better fitting Huarache style inner sock.  This colorway was worn by Lakers great A.C. Green in the 1991-92 season, but has not been seen since.  Check out more pics after the break.

    just amazing nike really needs to start retroing more of these shoes i would really like to see these and the huarraches and jordan i am happy jordan is retroing sixs but the blue ones from a couple weeks ago arent being retrod wich is stupid there sick

    These are fresh – and yeah jeremy, there are a lot of gems Nike could retro but they just haven’t or won’t.

    I’m still pissed that when they retroed the flight light mids a year or so ago that they didn’t release the black/white version. I loved that shoe when I had it back in 5th grade.

    @ jibbycanoe…they did release that version of the Flight Lite…It’s all over NY for Dirt cheap. As for the 2…Nike are you reading this?

    I had a pair of these in a size 9 that i sold sometime last winter. Wish I had kept them, they were the oldest pair of kicks I had. smh, I still got some DS heat tho thats in the closet. but damn, these were a nice shoe.
