Throwback Thursday: An Ode to Bo Jackson Trainers

nike-air-trainer-sc-og-2

Nike Air Trainer SC- By 1989 Bo was in full swing with the Royals and full speed with the Raiders setting career highs in home runs and rushing yards. The ball player was named MVP of the 1989 MLB All-Star Game after a solid offense-defense performance that saw him go yard on his first all-star plate appearance.

The Trainer SC marked the new direction of the Trainer series as well as the start of the “Bo Knows” campaign. A string of ads depicted Bo playing various sports with cameos from the likes of Michael Jordan, Kurt Gibson, and Wayne Gretzky with music from Bo Diddley. “Auburn” and “Beet” colorways made the SC an instant classic. A departure from the previous models, the SC dropped the forefoot strap and featured visible air. The SC has been retroed in mid and low cuts and has seen a slew of new schemes from the popular Escape to the wild Mardi Gras.

The trainer iii *medicine balls* is the the trainer sc1 and you have the trainer sc iii *auburns* as the trainer sc1 so the sc series dropped the forefoot strap at the end of the sc series wich is the sc iii and the sc ii is 89′/90′ but great reading and info.
