LeBron Thinks Pink for Preseason

While it may not compare to the NFL’s everything-pink-but-uniforms Breast Cancer Awareness efforts, LBJ sported the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III “Think Pink” during Cleveland’s preseason victory over the Charlotte Bobcats last night.

October is Breast Cancer Awarness month, and if you recall, the ZSIII “Think Pink” were created to pay tribute to late NCAA coach Kay Yow and also raise awareness, as were the Nike Hyperdunks “Think Pink.” They feature a pink and white make-up, with pink patent leather on the toe cap and uppers. As one of the most physical players in the game, it’s a little odd to see him wearing light pink, but the great story and cause behind these override the fact they don’t match the Cavs’ jerseys. And it’s safe to assume that David Stern won’t fine LeBron for these like Michael’s black Air Jordan 1′s.

The regular season is almost here, so don’t worry basketball fans. And of course, Kicks on Court will return in all its glory, so be ready to hit your keyboard as soon as your favorite squad hits the hardwood.
