Jordan Spizike Black Patent

Yesterday we got a look at the Jordan Spizike Black/White-Infrared, which was rumored to have been designed by DJ Clark Kent and then later confirmed to have no real connection. Today, we have this patent leather version, which thankfully hasn’t been linked to anyone but MJ and Spike.

These are absolutely slathered in black patent leather. From the ankle on down to the toes, this shiny black material is present. The toe piece looks to be made of solid black suede, while a laser print is used on the heel section. Breaking up the black are both the liner, which is red and features print, and a white plastic grate from the Jordan V. The Air bubble sole from the Jordan III isn’t covered in patent, but it has been done up with a black shiny coating.

These are expected to drop Spring 2010. How do these compare to the other Spizikes we’ve seen, like the one above or the Black and Cement Greys we saw awhile back?

    These are bad. Ive never been too much of a spizike person but to each his own. im good on these tho. after the 1st 2 spizikes i was done.

    With all of the year 2010 releases that I have seen so far, these are by far the best pair. I will be definitely be coppin these along with numerous pairs of the VIs.

    Thats too much patent leather right there i gotta see them in person to decide for the most part only one decent pair of spiz ikes to buy the bred colorway but they threw me off with the blue jumpman everything else is pretty much a failure so sad they had to drop so much garbage on a nice shoe

    What is with all of the Spizike’s?? They should just release 3 a year (if that). These should be called the Michael Jackson Tributes. Too much patent leather. Throw in a little suede and they would be better. I think these look kind of fake.

    I’ll be sure to sport these next time I’m dressed up like Darth Vader… Other than Halloween, I can’t see a reason to even put these on. Nonetheless, I actually like them. Scary.
