From the second half of the 2008-2009 NBA season to the end of the summer, we witnessed more colorways of the Kobe IV than we could think of. The majority of you applauded every Kobe IV release seeing that you voted it the best signature sneaker of this past NBA season. However, will the Kobe V pick up where the Kobe’s fourth signature sneaker left off?

Recently, Carmelo Anthony called for a rematch of this year’s western conference finals by challenging Kobe Bryant to a game on NBA 2K10. In the footage (shown here), shots of Kobe Bryant sporting a new, low-cut sneaker surfaced during the bout. Supposedly, this is the upcoming Kobe V that he will be wearing this upcoming season.     Kobe IV are the most comfortable shoes i’ve played in. Im not even a big kobe fan but those shoes are light & comfortable. Im not playing in anything other than them

    im gonna tell you right now the 5s will look and feel better than the 4s. should be the hottest bball shoe for the 09-10 season. the toebox of the 5 looks similar to the hyperizes along with the patent leather. i felt like the only weakness, not that is was really a weakness, to the 4 was the toe box. inspiration from the hyperize should add even more mobility for those quick cuts on the balls of your feet!!

    For those saying Lebron VII’s look better, what the hell are you talking about? That shoe doesnt perform as good as it looks. True these shoes dont look as good as the IV’s but the performance must be sky high. You saw how light the IV’s were and they were incredible, lucky I copped a pair and I will cop a pair of the V’s but in Dream Team colors.

    Lebron VII’s however, are high cut, supports the ankle thats good, but with all that height and length, the shoe will be heavier than the IV’s or V’s.

    IMO, Kobe’s shoes are more on performance than looks.
