Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke

The Bespoke program has been the platform for some Fugly kicks, but also some incredible creations. This pair done up by Pete from Premium Laces falls into the latter category.

The Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke program at the Nike Sportswear flagship store at 21 Mercer in NYC, allows you to choose from all the classic Nike materials. This pair features elephant print around the entire front toebox area as well the heel area. 3M is applied to the side panel and tongue. The Swoosh is then touched with patent leather making for a lethal combination. All of that on top of an icy sole makes for some serious neck breakers.

No thanks, don’t really like either of these. The grey pair has cool blocking, but I’m not a fan of that much elephant print. I mean sometimes elephant print can work for me, but the clear midsole ruined any chance of it working on this shoe. You can do so much better in bespoke, I don’t know why I haven’t seen some really nice bespokes yet.

Oh **** what do you know it is…. Thats kinda dissapointing to me because grey leather woulda looked nice in the back. I don’t like when 3m reflects and it makes the blocking on a shoe look different.

Mannn, the Elephant Print is losing it’s significance in the shoe game. They are using it for too many different models, it only belongs on AJ3s and nothing else that’s why the print was so special in the 1st place.

Clean and classic. I especially like the added touch of Skyâ€™s name on the lacelock. Youâ€™ve got all the right ingredients Elephant print, ice outsole, and 3M. As always Pete and Premium Laces are at the epicenter of what’s hot.

Oh and what is it with people thinking elephant print can only ever be used on the 3? You act like the 3 is the first thing to ever use elephant print. It might be the first shoe, *might*, because there is footwear outside of sneakers, but it was definatley not the first article of clothing to use it. It’s not like the print is even that amazing, no one would care nearly as much if it wasn’t associated with Tinker and Jordan.

This is a very clean sneaker from Pete. I’m happy he designed a shoe he’ll be happy wearing because at the end of the day..if you won’t wear it…what’s the point? Can’t wait until he does his next one. the tribute to his daughter was a nice touch.
For the record…TONS of Nike shoes from the 80′s used this print, but of course most of the readers won’t remember if they are younger than 20.

they look ok, I personally am in favor of the dark colored ones, but the 3M is done nicely.
It’s not the greatest Bespoke though. I think its sort of in the middle. I think that is why it is getting a love/hate response.
