The Air Jordan 5 will be making a comeback this year in the form of the Air Jordan 5 Retro White/Dark Army.

The AJ5 gets a white patent leather upper with Dark Army, Dark Cinder, and Del Sol colored accents. The midsole gets the dark accents, while the inner liner and Jumpman logo on the tongue, get the bright “Del Sol” coloring. These should be available at select Jordan Brand retailers in June.

Lets face it. Everybody is going to hate these then we are not going to be able to buy these online or anywhere. isnt that how the story goes? The shoes are ok. Kinda like the patten leather on a 5. As for Jordan collectors these are a must cop.

These are a single shoe release for $135 in June.
It’s got a CDP insole with the “XXIII” inside, since it’s a photo of a sample sneaker (at most, not the finished product) …but these won’t be released in a “pack.”
The Raging Bull Pack is of a grey/black sneaker and there’s a red/black one, with nubuck material, making up that pack.

Why should the patent leather make them any different?
If anyone on here is like me, I’ve hooped in SEVERAL pairs of my Jordan kicks, throughout my day, including the Concord XI’s BOTH times they released (OG & Retro).
Sure, the patent cracked, wrinkled and all of that, but it happens.
And you’re going to cut that time period in half, hooping in them indoors and outdoors, like I did.
So why does it matter?
If your purpose is to ball in ‘em, do so…
But that seems like an “excuse” to me, to jump on this “Why the Patent Leather?” bandwagon.
