American hardcore punk band Bad Brains, originally formed in Washington D.C., has teamed up with Vans once again to form a new version of the Chukka model. Since 1982, Bad Brains has released eight albums, with its most recent dropping in 2007. However, its most recent collaboration with Vans seems to be inspired by its oldest album cover.
This Vans Chukka “Bad Brains” features a 100% beige canvas upper with red, yellow and green designs bordering the sole of the shoe. It also contains a contrast stitching of the same colors on the heel. A yellow lightning bolt also appears on the heel in representation of the group-s self-entitled debut album.Via Hypebeast.
