Solebox is one the trendsetters in the sneaker world, constantly pushing new ideas and trying new things. However, even they know sometimes when something works, it is best to stick with it.

Solebox and New Balance have teamed up a number of times on the 1500 silhouette. Each time, simple colors have been applied to the silhouette and seen lots of success. For 2009, the Solebox x New Balance 1500 Pack is one of those instances where it’s not broke, so don’t fix it. Two simple colorways are expected to drop sometime this summer. We’ll keep you updated.

These are the best collaboration of 2009 that I’ve seen so far. No two companies collaborate better than Solebox and NB. That toothpaste pack was out of this world and these are some crazy kicks as well to say the least. Nike can learn something from this…

yeah sure, New balance and Solebox team up again to try and rape you with expensive @$$ sneakers.
My question is why the greed? They typically have a decent – good product…why not try a less pretentious approach and a more attainable approach? It’s a win-win situation.
In my opinion, if they followed that formula they would maintain/acquire many satisfied customers.

I absoluteley agree with Joe, the shoe combo is nice, clean colorway, making them exclusive is ok but raping the consumer is another. and please stop hating on new balances, i love nikes but i love my new balances also. especially the fact that they many of their shoes are manufactured here in the U.S. giving ppl jobs.

how are they rape prices? they are comparable in elevated pricing as say a supreme af1 as opposed to a general release af1 in the states. You have keep in mind that most New Balances retail for 160 or more in europe, so pricing over 200 is to be expected,……..
Very nice, but not as nice as older Solebox/NB releases.
