A decade after four years of hard work, Li’l Penny is finally getting his due. If Mars Blackmon can get a shoe, can’t Nike hook Li’l Penny up?

Nike has heard the request (in a Chris Rock voice of course) and delivered. Next month will see the release of the Nike Air 1/2 Cent which pays tribute to Penny Hardaway’s ~~loud mouth~~ very opinionated sidekick Li’l Penny. The shoe is a mash-up of all four Nike Air Penny signature shoes plus the Nike Air Foamposite One.

In preparations for the big release, Nike has brought Li’l Penny to New York City to see the city, tour the top spots, as well as host a few meet and greets.Â Would you like to meet Li’l Penny?Â Have a photo taken with him or your favorite pair of Pennys?Â Maybe just ask him about if he still has the hots for Tyra.

I love Air Penny from foams to III.(but not IV).
I’m an ol’ school man. I like the og design the way how it suppose to be. I get really disturbed when Nike try to put something together and milk money out from an retired NBA player’s signature shoe.
It really bothers me that nike is thinking(?) milking money out from real shoe fan who “ACTUALLY” knows who Penny Hardaway is.
I mean it’s cool to come out with some new joints, but leave penny’s name alone. (well the shoe name is 1/2cent)
This is just my honest opinion.
No arguement.
Bottom line is I’m HAPPY to see Penny signature shoes back in the market!!
