Artists Parra, Delta, and Eric Elms have put in work with Amsterdam based Patta before, back in ’07 they collaborated on a collection of sweatshirts. Patta dropped their Asics GEL Lyte III that same year. This year to celebrate their 5 year anniversary, they’ve brought back the same artists for the Patta x Asics GEL Lyte Speed Pack. Each artist puts their personal touches on the GEL Lyte Speed. Elms decided on a a mostly purple colorway with teal and white accents, with graphics on the inner liner and insole, straight off the gear from 2007. Delta chose a simple monochromatic approach, only black, white and grey made it onto his kicks. Lastly Parra takes a much brighter direction with red, yellow, and light blue colors. The Parra insole features his artwork, this time in the form of womens high heels. All three colorways will drop on January 31st. Via SlamxHype. |
