Nike Air 1/2 Cent, Half Cent PennyNike has pumped out nearly as many hybrids as Toyota the past few years, but the next to roll out stands ahead of the rest of the pack. The Nike Air 1/2 Cent is a mashup of five sneakers worn by Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway including the Air Penny, Air Penny II, Air Penny III, Air Penny IV, and of course the Air Foamposite.

Like Jordan Brand paid tribute to Spike Lee, Nike pays tribute to Penny’s sidekick Li’l Penny with the name “1/2 Cent” (his jersey number) as well as his face on the heel of the shoe.

The Nike 1/2 Cent will debut in March in a limited release in Black/Royal as well as an all black colorup for a price of $190. Check the better detailed shots after the break from chajinyoung.

    I really dig them, esp. the royal blue/black colorway. Probably one of the few fusions that I’ll actually buy 2 pairs of.

    #48 phuck eastland mall and harold penner is a rip-off/ those cats charge like 180 for wheat timberlands. go to south park/carolina place mall. i dont phuck with eastland because in 1999 i got banned 10 years for gun charges there.

    These shoes is straight, i could see myself buyin the all black ones….but 190 is a lil deap….and for those of you sayin to stop complainin about price bcuz nike could easily charge 250 for these wit all the technology in them…..plz, these damn shoes cost nike no more then 20 bux a piece to make…and thats probably a stretch…..nike could easily make these 110…….but you slap 190 on there and make em limited and people will buy them regardless

    The Blue Joints Are HARD, but WHY do they keep puttin’ gum soles on these shoes…I KNOW they were on the foamposite’s but give it 8 or 9 months MAX and you never want to wear them anymore except to wash your car because of that nasty yellow thing at the bottom of your shoe!

    I think Both colorways are tight but $190 is too much i think the highest for these shoes is $150. But im gonna get either pair this year since i havent seen any jordan that capture my attention yet.

    $190 is too much. I’d still rather each one of the shoes separate. But, I think it is one of the better hybrids to date.

    Those royals are hitting, but goodness $190, and you know after tax is added they will be hitting heads for $200. Gonna have to think long and hard abouth copping these. Especially with the eggplant foams coming out a month before them for over $200 and the Air Griffy’s a month after these.

    What is the release date for these? March is very vague ppl. I mean there’s 31 days in that month!!!! I do know that since they are limited DTLR will have them. Better get there early cuz I got a shorty I bagged in Applebee’s last month that manages a DTLR here in ATL!!!!!!
