As part of our 9 Sneakers to Look out for in ’09, we showed you this Nike Air Griffey Max 1 White/Black-Fresh Water-Varsity Red. Many of you expressed that this will be one of your more sought-after sneakers in 2009. Well, to increase to your anticipation, detailed photos of this retro sneaker have now hit the web.

Set for an April 2009 release date, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 debuted in 1996 and many have waited impatiently for a retro release. Also, it did not help seeing Ken Griffey Jr. wearing PE versions of the Air Griffey Max this past season.
