Nike Air Force II “Gucci” Sample

Earlier this week we shared with you a photo of a sample Air Force II inspired by the classic Gucci colors of red and green. We have seen a few variations of the “Gucci” Air Force II that included more colors and other cosmetic touches, but Politics just shared with us photos of another variation of the shoe.

On this sample Nike adds much more of the classic “Green-Red-Green” stripes to the shoes along the ankle TPU and laces. In addition to added color is a black tone-on-tone paisley pattern that subtly graces the upper. What will the final product look like?

Only time will help us out with this one. No word on when this officially will release, but the colors would make February (Black History Month) a good time to release in my opinion. More shots after the break.

Gucci has a sneaker out that kinda already looks like an af2 so i kinda get why they used this model. ! think it looks good. im not gonna cop. But guys…EVERYTHING cant be a dunk or an af1. you gotta learn to really look at the whole sneaker

Personally I like the AF2 and this sample looks 100X better than the last…the small changes and laces made the shoe. Hope I can get a pair if they actually drop…

Gucci ans nike shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence gucci is high fashion nikes are sportwear guccis are 330 or better nikes are 145 or better then you pay extra from other guy cuz they are rare in your eyes gucci has been around 200 years nike has been around what 40 or so years doesnt add up at all and its more status to wear gucci than nikes athletes play in nikes they wear gucci and gucci doesnt even put billions of dollars to advertise nor is there a face of gucci no lebron no carmelo no jordan but best believe all these guys have pairs of gucci and gucci isnt begging these guys to put the clothes or shoes on never compare gucci and nike again please! I just realized how good the af2 is for a gucci shoe with that piece connecting to the 3rd from top lace hole. Very nice touch.
Kinda dissapointed though, it looks like leather quality went down from samples. And now that I actually see it with gucci laces I’m not sure if I like it or not.
And btw comment 33, are you talking about some ford that came out this year or a classic ford? Because in that case Id rather take the classic ford over a benz.
Not to mention that comparison isn’t true because nike does make some high end products. Its true we pay for rarity (though it is not just rarity in “our eyes”, if it was just in our eyes they would be pretty easy to find), but like I said, classic fords can run you alot.
Not to mention most gucci shoes are ugly and people only buy them for the name. I would never equate gucci to a lambo, I don’t think any shoe out there can be considered a lambo if the rarest Nikes are just classic fords.
Anyway, I couldn’t care less about the gucci name on these, I just like the colors.

To BKost: Yeah you are right classic fords are expensive but classic benz or lambo are just as expensive if not more and yes nike does make high end items but its still not the same, and some people do but gucci for the name but others buy it for they are extemely comfortable italians are known for art and fashion and a company that has been around for well over two centuries has to be doing something right I wear guccis and I wear nikes and all guccis arent ugly true they make ugly items but nike does it way more than gucci does maybe the lambo is a bad comparison what im saying is Nikes are a everyday peoples shoe where guccis are not accessible to everyone but the lambo is a italian car so is ferrari so would you take a classic ford or a Garllado, 360 Modena, F30 choice is yours homie either way you aint going wrong lol preciate you not going all negative 2day

^^^ Also, releasing them as “Black History Month AFII” would negate those gucci copyright infringement issues that plague the (gucci) dunks.
